Back Squats Every Day In May

Back by popular demand…..sort of.

We’ve done it once before with great results.  Why, you ask, in the hell are we gonna back squat every day in May?  Here’s why:

  • Expect a minimum of a 10% increase in your current 1RM Back Squat
  • Expect strength increases across the board.  Even upper body movements
  • Cuz I know what’s better for you than you do.  At least when it comes to fitness
  • It will make you harder to kill
  • Great conversational starter.  People will continually ask “why are you walking that way”

Here’s How It’s Done:

  • Monday through Friday, the Buy-In will be Back Squats
  • You will 5 reps in quick succession at 60-70-80 and 90% of your current 1RM weight.  The fifth rep will be at whatever weight you want based on how the fourth rep felt
  • Rest only the time it takes do add the weight to the bar taking no more than 4 minutes from start to finish
